I'm not going to lie, I uh...I about had a heart attack when I saw this. Several of them, I think. I was just cruising around the internet and thought I'd revisit Verityburns' story because I was feeling nostalgic about it at 2am and it was like being struck by lightning. I REALLY want to blow this up to ridiculous proportions and then WALLPAPER MY ROOM with this piece of brilliance. I really do. Hell, I'll settle for a poster. This is gorgeous, absolutely lovely. I have to say I love the detail of the light coming from around John's shoulder.

The illustrations you've done for this story have been exquisite. Your sense of light and dark is incredibly sensitive and just beautifully done.

You say this is done with Photoshop? I'm very impressed. I love the way you illuminate the figures. I don't use the computer to paint my paintings but if I could do it as well as you, I'd consider trying to learn. :-)

I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to friend you. Congratulations on some brilliant artwork and thank you for sharing your talents.
