Destiny Journeys: Healing of Farts

Well, I'm pretty sure the title is playing off Mix's story, long deleted.  Preeeettty sure.  Though I'm wondering if the author is making fun of Mix's story or just writing a general parody while parodying a well-known story on SPPf.  I haven't read DJ:HOH (is that how it was shortened) so I can't tell.

I actually know Neko Godot and I'm certain Godot is not Mix. I may have a few problems with Mix's story, but indeed that's a bit much parodying the story like that. I talk to Godot through chatroom/MSN sometimes, so I'll see if I can talk to him about it when I'm able to catch him online.

...Interesting find. Even if he was making a general parody, it would be better to not make it that blatant. To be honest, though, I'm not really offended so much as eyerolling at that title and walking away. If he had in mind to parody a title of a well-known Pokémon fanfic with each new chapter title, though, I don't think I'd mind at all.

At the same time, it is a little uncomfortable. With other parody stories that made fun of authors, the writer of the parody asked his ... "victims" (lol) if it was okay to make fun of them; there was at least some sense of control on the victim's part. I'm not sure if Neko Godot, the author of Healing Farts (lulz), asked Mix if it was okay. From the looks of it, it doesn't seem like Mix goes to SPPf anymore, and her story has been deleted from SPPf. So I'm gonna guess Neko didn't ask.

It would be funny to see him create parody titles for other well-known pokemon fanfic, though. =P

...interesting, totally did not notice this. o.o I do wonder if Mix would be offended since the title is ripping on her. (Ahaha, ripping.) Then again, I think she deleted the original because she was self-conscious about it it or something, and since it was from so long ago now I'm sure she'd just laugh it off. But I'm sure she has no idea. :P

However, I do wonder at Neko Godot's plan here, since only older members would get the reference of his title, and even so, with the original deleted, it's not like anybody can go back to the old thread and look it over to see what he might be parodying. It just doesn't do much as is.

It just seems a little silly, imo, and you know you're off to a great start when you rely on fart-related jokes from the get-go. :P
