Today has been a very long day. I think no other band reminds me of Delaware more than Circle Takes the Square. I dont know why.

After hours of reading biology journal articles about bacterial antibiotic resistances through plasmids, I came across the most glorious article known to science. It was titled "Heavy Metal resistance in bacteria"

Saw my grandfather today. It was great. We got all redneck and went trapshooting, which we used to do a lot. I think I did fairly well considering its been a few years. But really I like it just because I do it with my grandfather. I love that man ( Read more... )

What the fuck.

So the other night I saw a History Channel special on Hannibal. And I must say, Hannibal was a fucking incredible man. In one battle with the Romans he was outnumbered 2 to 1 while the Romans had 80,000 soldiers. By the end of the battle Hannibal had lost 6,700 troops. The Romans lost an estimated 60,000. Sometimes there are situations that I don't like to think about. When I'm stuck at home all day with nothing else to do during these times I try to distract myself by doing things like beginning War and Peace or watching movies like "Welcome to Mooseport"

It turns out that things like these don't really work.
