So, err.

If anyone is still interested at this point, the list of people to be NPC'd on the next report tomorrow unless they post with VEs are:

Koshirou Aizawa (VE!)
Yukihiko Koyamada (I hereby award myself a VE/I'm waiting for Koshirou)
Benjiro Takagi (VE!)
Mizuki Abe
Satsuki Takada (VE!)
Haruka Yoshida (Josh is waiting for Koshirou ( Read more... )

I'm still interested in playing. I've been gradually compiling my next post, despite other obligations taking precedence. I've been keeping in contact with Andi, so she can attest for this.

That's fine, I understand that. Don't worry about the sweep, then. :3

Have you considered, after tomorrow's report, doing away with the scheduled reports entirely? I didn't want to officially suggest this in case V11 did end up happening, but now that it looks like V10 is the last version, I think it could be beneficial to whoever's left and still wants to play ( ... )

Actually...I like this idea quite a bit. This was going to be my last version whether the com lasted or not but I'd really like to make it through at least one OC round without NPCing. I've avoided the sweeps so far but I'm writing so casually I'm not sure how long that's going to last. Doing away with a schedule and letting the activity factor determine when they happen so the reports have more on them and there isn't a threat of going to collars really makes me happy.

I like this idea a lot too, actually. I'm pretty sure (unless I missed it in their post[s]) that Rianne and Dan, who're the furthest along in terms of reports, aren't even up to date with all the reports... so it's gonna be hellish for everyone else, I think, even with the reports being monthly now. I think otherwise people are just gonna be playing catch-up for the rest of the game.

also there's only a small number of players left, and we're all pretty active (in-terms of chat, being on AIM, and whatnot) so it won't really be difficult to get everyone's opinion on when the next report should be, to know when they're ready, etc, so that the mods can post when everyone's ready and so forth. |D

This is kinda awkward, but I would like to request a VE... I've been pretty depressed and unmotivated lately, but unfortunately it's been at the cost of two other people, which I feel really shitty about. But I did put a lot of time and care into Koshirou and I'd rather not let him go. So yeah, I'm kinda bummed :/

Zarrah, if you and Josh feel the need to crank out a post, you don't have to wait on me. I'm not suggesting you pull my weight or anything, but if you're getting stir-crazy then it's okay to post.

Yeah, that's fine. :3 Don't worry about it at all.

I might post something once my fortnight of hell is over, yeah. It's not just your fault we haven't posted, backstory can always go on as well, so.

Also, I don't know if this is the appropriate place to say it but I've been walking around with this for a while and I would like a second opinion on this.

I have killed a few NPC's with Dan and even though we're both happy to take some weight off you guys' shoulders by getting rid of the characters that are slowing us down (I'm sure no-one wants their character to be outlived by a swarm of NPC's) I really don't want to kill all of them.

Not only because it's unfair not to give others the chance to, but also because just like a report every post can eventually start feeling like an obligation, so is writing fight scenes. And I feel it's (going to be) annoying for you guys to read it in almost every single post I write, too. Like... how do you guys deal with finding a balance between helping the community's pace to keep up and avoiding the 'kill-kill-kill' pattern? If you feel this is better to discuss in private, I understand and sorry for bringing it up.

k sorry if this sounds snippy but i'm at work & can't spend a long time on this. I have been trying to kill off the same effing npc since AT LEAST the last npc sweep. Haven't been able to due to ooc reasons & people grabbing other npcs & me being so behind. I can't kill anyone, npc or otherwise, til i have caught up w/ previous reports. That's part of the reason i suggested stopping reports after this next one. I'm going to behind for the rest of the game at this rate. Tldr I WANT TO KILL PEOPLE but rn it's easier said than done.

You're not sounding snippy at all, it's understandable it's frustrating to be held back so much. Game should be about playing, not stressing out to keep pace.

Post wasn't meant as a way to make jabs at people, it was hoping others will join in on the killing soon instead XD.

Eh, no biggie. Hopefully me and a few others will soon kill off some of the remaining NPCs.
