Hi everyone, I'm relatively new here and the whole reason I joined Live Journal was because of br_roleplay. Before I joined I'd been looking at some of the roleplay entries and thought they were amazing! We didn't just close the RP - it died. There weren't enough veteran members to keep it alive, there are not enough new members to keep it alive. There isn't enough interest being expressed to restart it. No, we're not opening it again.

But I'm sure if we open it up again it will re-gain interest. I would join in, and there would be others who would join in too- I have a friend who I know would join in.

... I was going to say I'd be in for trying again, but too late for that. Sadly enough, like said, the comm has been closed after it died and an attempt at restarting it didn't work out.

But if you know a few people who are interested, maybe you should consider trying to set something up yourself? It's true that there's next to no RPGs out there for BR, so it's hard for newer fans. Sorry this comm is already dead.

It's a shame, I have found another roleplay based on Battle Royale but with original characters and it's set in america and called a different name, but br_roleplay is by far better than it and any other of the dead RPs I've seen drifting around the web. I love the way you set it out, being able to vote who dies, having original characters as well as the ones from the book and film as well as many other numerous things. It's also a let down that I was never able to join the community in time because I think I would have really loved it. If any of you are interested in the website I found I could give you the link, and if you decided to join it you might be able to put some of your own inputs to make it like br_roleplay?
