I figured I'd rant about this subject as news reported by various South Korean news outlets and online American communities alike have been bringing it up and discussing it, bringing to light some interesting points of view regarding the topic of various 'isms' in South Korea.

I'm pretty "numb" to East Asian racist remarks. I think it is because it is embedded in my mind already since the ideal of superiority is established within my family before my birth. It is wrong yet racism is a system that many Asians use so their children wouldn't mix blood with someone "beneath" them... aye.. so so wrong... :/ But what I know is that the general public in China and Korea completely and utterly despise people of darker skin color. I don't know why Korea is heavily targeted with racism since China and Japan also uses "black face" comedy... nationalism brings the best yet the complete worst of ourselves.

I think nationalism is largely negative since it's based on pretty negative mindsets from the start.. and I definitely agree that Japan also has a problem with imitating shit stupidly too.
