Just got home from the third rehearsal of my new 'side project', Pancake Madness, featuring a couple of other local bad-ass musicians. (I desperately wanted to call it "Bractune's Pancake Madness", or "Pancake Madness, featuring Bractune"...but NO, their egos couldn't handle it

I STILL have mixed feelings about any of us taking on side projects when our mantra has been to only focus on one thing, but I gotta say you picked a KILLER lineup!

I know we had many discussions about this even before the first PM rehearsal. But everyone in 'The Madness" is cool with the once-a-month practice schedule after the CD is done..and I'm saving all my GOOD songs for TKT.

(meaning, every song I write is for Pancake Madness!)
