I broke my phone when I threw it, but I wanted you to know that I'm not coming over tomorrow.

I hate to put this in writing because it makes it so real and permanent, but my dad is gone. I promise I'll call you tomorrow if you leave your phone number on here so I have it because I didn't memorize it and I don't know how else to get in touch with you. I really need someone to talk you.
