What I found inspiring about the season was what it said about the strength of self, and who people are on the inside. As Echo/Caroline put it, "You can't program a person." People will be who they are, and that strength of self breaks through barriers and fantasies and equations and logic, and is... for better or worse.
Because of that, not only did I feel like Echo was the one with the real strength throughout the season, I felt like she was leading non-dolls to (sometimes less-pleasant) self-awareness. It felt to me like she was in control, despite everything.
That kind of raw power that comes from deep down inside, from the part that can't be stripped away, is what appeals most to me about the series, and that's what I was trying to show here. And also to, you know, make it danceable and shiny and stuff... because after all it is Club Vivid.
I did quite a bit of effects work on the vid, but the goal was just to reproduce the source effects and make them all blend with each other. So hopefully what I did doesn't stick out.
