Every Friday night is "foo-bar", an employee-sponsored bar/party. Tonight we climbed on ladders and strung up a LiveJournal banner over the LJ area... with ethernet cable.

Say I wanted to delete someone off my friends list so that they can no longer see my enteries... how would I do that?

Well, if they're public, anyone can see them; but if they're friends only entries, if you take the person off your friends list, then that person can't read your entries anymore.

umm...ok my bad ...it was LJ maintenance that I wanted to join ...and message was that it was closed to new members...I mean how would I ever just accidentally fall upon you without someone forwarding me to you ...think about it...

Oh btw ...I tried again today and I'm in...don't know what that was all about ...but I am new at this...hmm and I'm pretty sure I wasn't drunk...lol

oh well...guess I don't need you anymore then :)

i have an idea for the comment option, i think it would be a good idea to have a setting or an option for when you post a comment to someones lj, that allows the comment to only be seen by them and the person who posted it.. just wondering if you guys would be able to do that.. thanks for readin this

people can screen comments

there is also the option of making the comment and deleting it, if you know that they get it emailed to them

What does livejournal have to say about the new bill 2257??
This will affect alot of people on LJ.
I dont think you guys want a jail term, or a hefty fine.

I was suprised not to see anything on your website about the bill, or at least a link warning people.

Even rotten.com sites are down and gone now.

Groups like show your pussy etc...

Hello! I wanted to tell someone there in LJ central that I don't appear to be getting my friends list updates. I noticed it was slow the last few days in updating. But this morning, I noticed I'm not getting anything since sometime last night. I go into my friends individual LJ's and they HAVE updated, I'm just not seeing them in my flist.

Can you see what's happening here? Is this a general problem, or just my LJ?
