Well, this past week was somewhat busy, and fun.  I attended Modern Doll Convention in Winston Salem NC. What I got to see of it was fun, and a very enthusiastic group of people.   What stunned me was that they don't consider Barbie a "Modern doll"....not sure why, but maybe she's too modern.     There was a lack of fashion dolls....But mind you ( Read more... )

I was hired by an auction house to catalog dolls for an upcoming auction, it was in Pennsylvania, the money was great, the timing was perfect.....So I have been there the last 3 days working on a lot of over 200 dolls and clothing.   Some impressive stuff ( Read more... )

I always have tons of ideas.....most i never get to act on, but I am always thinking about doing stuff, creating things, fixing things.   My major problem is this, I can do a lot...........Knit, sew, crochet, paint, draw, etc etc etc,,,,,so when I have time to do these things, i am often torn in a hundred directions ( Read more... )

I think something must be wrong with the stars because I had a pretty sucky day.   Just nothing seemed to go right, and I really would have like to call it quits very early (like about 10 am)   but that wasn't happening.

Hoping for better day tomorrow.

Also hoping its a "crazy" free day...meaning no crazy people can come in my shop.
