I must get hiccups about 80 times a week. They're incessant and obnoxious. Whatever makes the body convulse like that should be cured already!

Besides it's really embarrassing hiccuping through an interview... or while trailing people...

It had been a long day for Cecilia Jacobs. Although classes were not scheduled to begin for another two weeks, she had scheduled an appointment with her advisor to go over some last minute semester changes. Although declaring a major at the beginning of your sophomore year was normal- in fact, expected for most students, she had not realized a few key classes she would have missed as a first year. But she had sorted it all out- after an hour, of course- and was on her way back toward her dorm.

That was when she heard them. The hiccups.

Her brows furrowed as she looked sideways at the boy.

"Merlin, can't you hold your breath or something? That sound is infuriating."

A gorgeous girl... yelling. Brilliant.

"If I pass out will you catch me?" he smirked, only to be ruined by another hiccup. "Bloody hell!"

Although she was interrupting his work, it provided a nice to look at cover.

She slowed down her pace as he replied. She wasn't sure if she recognized him, or not, but there was something familiar about him. She rose her eyebrows at his response.

"I can't imagine that line actually works," she told him, shaking her head, her blond waves falling down her back. "And if it does, well, now isn't one of them."

"A girl tells me to hold my breath, I can only hope," he shrugged, "Anyway, please tell me you know a cure?"

He held in another hiccup, but his body shook a little.

So much for smooth.

You've always had hiccups like that. It's bloody weird.

I've run out of the serum Mum gave me. Although I think that stuff is just Mum's own concoction. Can't find it anywhere.

Ha... then it looks like I have a bit of shopping to do. Reckon the pure stuff will be all the more powerful?

Kevin was walking ahead of Bradley, completely oblivious to the fact that the boy was flat-out stalking him. He had just returned from home and was looking to buy most of his new books for this semester's classes.

He walked around nonchalantly, waving at people as he passed by. Still oblivious to the boy behind him, he turned a corner to enter into the bookstore.

Bradley leaned against the outside of the store. It was times like these he wished he smoked, to pass the time and avoid suspicion. He then entered the bookstore, shuffling through a pile of books. He made sure to at least pick a section of interest- disguise charms. Who says he can't learn on the hunt?

Kevin located his textbook for DADA 2 and moved onto the Magical Law Enforcement section before realizing that he heard shuffling behind him, paired with light hiccups? He slowly turned around and noticed a guy he had seen around campus at the other end of the row. Not really thinking anything of it, he continued on in looking for his books.

That is, until the hiccup noises continued to get closer as he moved down the row of books...but maybe Kevin was just getting suspicious because he had been thinking about DADA. He ignored the guy once more.

It was all about developing a cover story. Bradley was getting to be a professional. About halfway through his time there, he put his usual routine into action. He located a clerk, and had her guiding him all over the store. He even flirted with the girl a bit. All for the sake of a job, right?

Kevin was in a few of his classes, and he liked to know about everyone around him.
