Okay, I have a 6 month old Dell computer.. maybe it's 7 months. Anyway. Does anyone know if I could possibly "Trade in" this current computer for a Laptop? ANyone have any experience with something like this? Or would I have to sell everything and just start over?

Anyone? Bueller??

I know that a couple years ago Dell had a trade-in program. You probably won't get much for you desktop PC though. My best suggestion is to watch their sales. I just bought a laptop for just under $900 in August. That includes shipping and a free printer plus a few upgrades. Since Christmas is coming they'll be giving some good discounts soon, if not already.

Figures! All I could find on there now was some sort of recycle program, which well good for the environment does not bring in the $$ to justify a laptop. Damn.

I'm not sure about their trade-in program, but I remember you talking about taking some classes. All of the state schools now require their students to have laptops so they offer really good deals. I would assume that if you enroll in a course you would qualify as well.

Have you tried dell.com?

Oh interesting about the laptop and school. I need to look into that. You know, as soon as I look into getting back into some classes!

Yeah, dell.com took me on a wild goose chase, I couldn't even email them. I'll try calling later.
