Does anyone have a recommendation for a home inspector?

Also, completely random- but anyone know a structural engineer?

TIA!

Oh- We got the house!  After 5 ridiculous days of going back and forth, we just finally accepted the final counter offer today.  Signed, sealed and delivered!  Now to just get through the home inspection!

I know.. things have been so nuts!

I am so bummed that we will not be able to meet up, that weekend we are going to have to do all of our big moving though, so it will be impossible. I'm so sorry!!! ;(

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been going nuts wondering how it all played out. Patrick gave me the abridged version on Saturday morning, but it's been a cliffhanger since.

CONGRATS!

Will you be able to move from point A to point B or will you be shacking in Saugus for awhile?

You should have just called! ;) Of course there was really nothing to report until just a few hours ago (they were serious PITA's!!!).

We'll have two weeks in Saugus, which I'm actually okay with. I would love to just move from A to B, but those two months will give us that extra $$ that will come in handy..!

I thought about calling several times, but it was always at potentially bad times..i.e., bed, dinner, etc.

Hope you had a great time at the Cape. I verbally bitch slapped Patrick again today and much like kicking a dog he has come back passive and hoping to please, but more on that later.

We're checking out Little Gym in Danvers tomorrow. By the way, the Peabody and Reading Gymboree are under the same owner and the Peabody one has open gym time T 1-3:30 and Thurs 1:30-3:30. I'm not sure when the open gym is in Reading, but you can go to both centers. I signed up for the 10 weeks because I liked the option of having somewhere air conditioned to go a couple of afternoons a week where he can roam free. The equiptment is good for that age. There is no session next week, but we will be going back the following Monday at 11:15 if you want to try out the free class. We'll be in the new house then so you can grab some boxes if you need them as well.

Oohh.. I want to hear the Patrick story! I'm so grateful our condo sale has gone so smoothly to this point, no easements over here!

That next Monday might work. I don't have a calender in front of me, so remind me (You know, since you won't have anything else going on to think about)... :)

Congratulations, Lisa!!! I'm so glad you and Connor (and Tim, of course) will be even closer to us now. We'll have to explore Wilmington even more now....

We liked our home inspector but I can't remember the name.... Let me see if I can find it. As for a structural engineer, well, I'm not even sure exactly what that is! :-)

Congratulations!!! That's wonderful news!

We used Tiger Home Inspection and were very happy with them. The number is 800-62-TIGER. Good luck!
