Snow outside my window,
Looks so pretty and gay,
Flakes delicate like crystal,
Always brighten my day.

SNOWFALL
“Guess who’s become the next member of the Kryptonian Control Committee?”
“That’s great, Lex! I know it’s what you’ve always wanted.”
Bruce relaxed in his library desk chair, watching the snow fall outside the windows. A small tree glittered under the painting of his parents, baubles swaying gently in the branches.
“Thanks. Yes, what I’ve worked for all these years is finally mine.”
Bruce smiled at the satisfaction in his old friend’s voice. Lex liked nothing better than winning…unless it was bedding Jamie.
“You’ll be great, Lex. If you can get the Hunt Decree off those poor people…”
“I’m not sure I can do that, but control is better than extermination.”
“I agree with you there.”
“I agree with you that some of these old Decrees have to go.”
Bruce tensed slightly, but Lex was a master at code.
“Good idea.” A rustling of papers sounded in Bruce’s ear. “I’ll see what I can do.”
“That’d be good. Get rid of the clutter.”
Lex laughed. “A good way to put it. How’s the Family?”
Bruce smiled. “They’re just fine. How’s Jamie and Lionel?”
“They’re great. Jamie’s a ray of sunshine, as usual, and Dad’s always Dad.”
Bruce played with his stylus. “Sounds like all is well.”
“It is.” Lex paused, then asked, “When’s Edmund’s trial?”
“Probably after the holidays. Lana’s been pushing, and so have Kathy and Martha.”
“The Three Redheads will get it done.” Bruce laughed. “It’ll almost be a year since he took Clark.”
“The wheels of justice grind slowly.”
“Tell me about it. He’s only going to get a fine, isn’t he?”
“Yes, and possibly a suspended sentence. The laws are lax on slave kidnapping. Lana’s pushing to get them changed, but as Edmund’s already been charged, he’s grandfathered in.”
“A pity. I’d like to see the old bastard get what he deserves.”
“So would I, my friend. So would I.” Bruce sighed. “Well, good luck with the Committee. I know you’ll do a bang-up job.”
“Thanks, Bruce. And good luck with the trial.”
“Thanks, Lex.”
After Bruce hung up, he stared out at the snow. It was a beautiful picture, like something out of a vidcard. He let himself be mesmerized by the steady snowfall, lulled to a drifting state…
“Bruce?”
He looked up to see Clark smiling at him, a question in his eyes.
“Lock the door.”
Clark’s smile widened as he obeyed, returning to the desk as Bruce grasped his hand. He pulled Clark down onto his lap, Clark happily snuggling and wrapping his legs around his Master.
“Cozy,” Clark said with a smirk.
Bruce grinned. “It’s the snow. Gets me in the mood.”
“Lucky for me.”
Bruce laughed and nuzzled Clark’s neck, his lover purring happily. Clark cocked his head back, Bruce nipping and licking his neck. He exposed his throat, Bruce pressing his lips to the pulsing warmth, ripping open Clark’s shirt.
They fumbled with pants and underwear and lube, Clark easing himself onto Bruce’s cock, groaning happily. He pumped up-and-down, Bruce gripping his hips, thrusting up.
With one last grunt, Bruce came, Clark gripping his shoulders as he came seconds later.
“Mmm, baby, that was goood,” Bruce crooned.
Clark laughed as his body relaxed, his arms sliding around Bruce’s neck as he moved his hips. “I can say the same.”
Bruce kissed Clark’s bare chest, midnight-blue eyes sparkling. “I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
“Mmm, delicious.” Bruce glanced over at the fireplace. “We should light that and get on a bearskin rug.”
Clark’s laugh was music to his ears. Clark was so beautiful.
“I’m a very lucky man.” Bruce nipped at his lover’s neck. “You make me so happy.”
“That goes double for me.”
Clark’s sapphire-blue eyes shone with happiness, and Bruce’s heart swelled with love.
As the snow fell outside the Manor, love glowed warm inside.
