Clark was beside him, a star-spangled presence that made him smile. Leave it to Clark to choose a gaudy costume just like his own, with symbolism up the wazoo.

Have to have the symbolism! :)

A waste of time, really, as the man beside him was so pure, so good, that he wouldn’t entertain bawdy thoughts, or at least not with the grim Bat.

They certainly have started to make some progress, haven't they? I think my favourite thing about this story is watching the Batclan loosen up and lose a few of their inhibitions. I can't wait until they start to lose a few more!!

It is fun to see the Batclan getting loose! I've always thought the Arrows were a little more on the less-uptight, liberal side. ;)

I really like the dynamic between Bruce and Clark in this story. I love the way Bruce *wants* Clark so badly and knows him so well. It's fun to watch things slowly fall into place with the help of the brew. LOL Bravo!
