So, if I threw a party on Saturday 22nd May- would you come to it, or would you go to the Wami festival closing party at Amps with Abbe May, Umpire, The Scotch Of Saint James, Will Stoker and the Embers, Tomás Ford, Goodnight Tiger, Steve Parkin, etc? (it costs $22)

Just wanna gauge interest and then maybe try a different night instead...

Tomorrow is my Grandma's funeral. She died at 92 years old from Asbestosis. It's an awful death. The lungs slowly harden and essentially you slowly, slowly suffocate. She was in so much pain that really it was the painkillers that killed her. We are glad- she wanted to go ( Read more... )

A few months ago I quit my job, in the hope that I could have my soul back. It didn't come back suddenly, but has only been trickling in in dribs and drabs. My money has run out, and I'm down to $16 in the bank. I did have another job on a contract til christmas. It's over now. I've been learning alot about my life lately. I say my life and not explicitly myself because it includes my surroundings, and the effect of other people/ things on me.
