It's been there for a few months now. I thought it was because I had paid a traffic ticket, but the check never got to them so they didn't cash it. Knowing that, though, I "put" that money back into my registry and spent it. So it should be gone by now.

Okay, reading the part about the phantom money made me wonder if you're scouring the inner recesses of my brain for material. Extra money is supposed to be a great surprise, but seems only to arouse suspicion in this guy. Mainly because aside from not knowing why I'm in the black, I know that once I spend it, a random expense will pop up that i'm financially unprepared for.
