Arrived yesterday at GAFilk in safety. Having fun. Hotel setup a bit different than usual. In some ways, inconvenient; however, this setup gives us a larger lobby area, which is VERY good for filkers. Having fun

FYI, the two My Filk entries from last year, one of which I co-wrote, ended up on the CD that was handed out to members of Contata, last year's Floating East Coast Filk Con. (Yes, they did ask permission, so you have an out. :) )

Yes, but that was done special because Greg was one of the panelists, and hms42 was being complete about including the themed songs from GaFilk because we already had the one. It's unlikely we'll do a borrower song again unless something similarly tragic happens.

That and our toastmaster, who was unable to attend, had done a 2nd song on the topic and only by including those 2 songs, would it have made sense.

As for a GaFilk recordings CD, not likely till a major number and then, only in a limited format. (members of con/interfilk.) That is NOT something I need on my plate currently. (I have 3 CDs I am working on for people now, 1 with a 2/09 release date.)
