Seeking creative blind person to adapt Braille to my invented language

Feb 10, 2007 11:45

I invented a language 7 years ago that now has hundreds of speakers and fans on the Internet. I am about to publish a book on it. I want to add a Braille section to show how the language can be written by blind folks. If this message is off-topic to the community, then please accept my apologies ( Read more... )

I study language and literature in college and I teach braille to a few students. I've also taken a course in linguistics so know about all that terminology. If you want to contact me, just reply with your info and I can help. :)

I forgot to mention that I know about other codes that existed before braille (like moon type), so maybe I can help with a creative idea. It can be difficult to learn braille if you're much older, but moon type is very slow and complicated to reproduce, which is why it has mostly gone out of use. Anyways, I'll stop typing now. lol
