What are the rules regarding pictures that you think are extreme? (I'm not aware of any rules regarding pictures, at least not in the literary code.)
By the way, I'm not sure anyone without a braille display can actually read what you wrote, since it's not set to the SimBraille font, at least not on my computer.

I'm a fan of encyrpted messages. But I don't have a braille display and so all I got was nothing but code. If you can please type in plain english that'd be wonderful. Thanks.

For those who can't read it, his message says: Hey, since I am a fan of braille since noone else can read it I thought I'd join this community. I do think the rules regarding pictures are a bit extreme, through [though?]. I wonder how active this community is. Well, I will soon find out. Have a good day.

I think he's referring to the community rules (Rule 4 in particular).
It does sound rather extreme to me, especially since they could come in handy, say, for posting Braille-as-dots for sighted people to see and practice with, with an alt tag saying the same thing either in normal English spelling or in SimBraille encoding (which seems to be the most widespread?).
sorry folks rules are rulesclearwater55June 14 2005, 01:32:12 UTC
Regardless, it's my community and I chose no pictures. I'm a zoomtext user and it pixulates (fuzzy edges in a image) or blurs the image.
Rules are rules, please abide by them.
If you are sighted and want to practice braille either use the See Your Name in Braille feature on the user info page or go use a java flash card system on http://www.brl.org.
