it's just about the best feeling in the world getting out of a speeding ticket. to date, that makes it one speeding ticket i have received, and 5 tickets i have weaseled out of somehow. a sixth if you count a parking ticket. it's a good feeling.

you know what else feels good? sleep. so i'm gonna go do some.

You know what feels even better? The driver's safety class one must take in order to receive court supervision! It's four hours of bliss.

you know, it's a funny story. sort of in the vein of the post, really. the one ticket i got, i paid the fine in court. the judge tells me to go to driver's safety class and to see the clerk about it. so i see the clerk, pay my ticket fine, and pay the cash to register for the class and wait by the mailbox for my class assignment. for whatever reason, my class assignment never came and i seem to have slipped between the cracks. i've been pulled over several times since then, and never have i heard a word about not reporting to my class.

so there you have it, beurocracy works.
