Title: An Unlikely Collision

Rating: PG for the very existence of Jack Harkness.
Spoilers: I've seen half of Season 1 in Torchwood and I'm up to the latest in Booster Gold - vague references to recent events.
Warnings: None.
"Don't worry, this happens all the time. I told you I rearended Barry Allen once," Booster said cheerfully, hopping under the console of the time sphere to check the damage.
The man in the army coat grinned suggestively. "Oh, me too."
Ted had the horrible feeling his face was turning bright red. "Uh. So your, uh, device, looks in pretty bad shape!" he said desperately. "Who do we call for a timestream tow?"
"Well, normally I'd call the Doctor," their visitor drawled, "But seeing as I sort of borrowed the TARDIS for this little jaunt..."
"The doctor? Are you hurt?" Ted asked, looking the man over for injuries. That turned out to be a bad idea as it prompted him to reciprocate, in a decidedly non-medicinal fashion. Ted wished, not for the first time, that superhero outfits were a little looser.
"No, no, the Doctor. What sort of time traveller hasn't met the Doctor?"
"I've met the Doctor!" Booster volunteered in muffled tones, trying to crawl out from the mess of wires he'd created. "I hitched a ride once. A companion, I presume?" He finished, dusting himself off and holding out a hand.
"Captain Jack Harkness." He smiled charmingly and shook hands. "How're you for travel?"
"Oh, Beetle and I can probably fix her up given a bit of time. This guy's a total genius!" He bragged, clapping Ted on the shoulder. Harkness turned that appraising gaze on him again, and Ted blushed (blushed!) and waved a hand.
"Er, let's see where we've ended up then, shall we?" He mumbled.
"It's probably somewhat before your time." said Harkness, taking off his coat and rolling up his sleeves. "Let's hope it's hospitable, if we're going to be stuck here for a while."
"Don't worry!" Booster proclaimed. "I think we're all going to get on just fine!"
"Oh, yeah," muttered Ted, trying to avert his gaze from Harkness's ass in those trousers. "Just fine."
