I read the book Gathering Blue during FCAT. The book that was the sequel to The Giver. It was really good. The book says she's writing a third one too.

Why did we have to read about plankton for FCAT?

yeah gathering blue was really good. i read it last year. everyone hated the Giver but i really liked it.

i don't know why we had to read about plankton. why did we have to read about an ode to plates? or "old whiskers?" i mean who cares.
