I've been doing a bit of story planning but, as always, I have trouble thinking up a logical plot. It's a sci-fi idea, set in the future sometime. All I have really is a setting, a main character and a few events

Whoa...we had very similarly themed dreams last night. Mine was pulling very large slugs out of a drain. Yours sounds much more horrific. Yikes.

I've been trying to do some writing too lately, but I'm just... stuck. Nothing really comes to me.
And that second dream sounds awful. Of course, I hate dreaming in general.

I hate the feeling of being stuck. I find that for me, as I drift off to sleep I try to imagine whatever little ideas I have and ideas come to me sometimes.
