look at the bright side most people read others entrys in thier own personal friends link thingy; formatted thier own way.

how did you learn to make layouts? like is there a site i can go to? where do you put the codes for your layouts anyway?

it's taken me almost3 years to figure out how to make good online blog layouts not just LJ but Xanga and Myspace and Blogger and even real websites like on Geocities and AOL hometown. But It's a difficult and painful process at times one little mistake can mess up your entire layout! grrr. i hate it. i wish they had a "preview" feature before you submitted you codes.

ok to make a CUSTOM layout with like CSS codes and HTML codes go to your info page then click manage>>customize>>modify journal. scroll down all the way to the bottom pf the page and you should see a blank white box area and that is where you submit your coding. then hit "save changes" and see what happened to your LJ.

Try layouts_for_lj they have good tutorials and layouts I believe.
