I feel like because my parents are paying for my apartment and my tuition, their rules and wishes are adhered to for the present moment. They deserve my respect and obedience until I'm no longer under their care. And if that means awful Thanksgivings, I'll just have to deal for right now. *shrugs*

Oh, man, that's awful. :( I know people who are vegetarian, and they haven't eaten meat in so long that if some sneaks into their food, their bodies don't know how to handle it anymore and they get sick. Seriously, people who aren't limited with food really don't understand. But the least they can do is respect the wishes of those who ARE limited and be polite. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. :(
