I want a kitty
So, my mom finally took off for her (so-called) vacation. Trust me, in my family, vacation is pretty much as close to hell as you can get. We don't vacation well. There's either dire sickness, some sort of freak emergency, or mind-boggling drama of some sort. In China, which I was seriously looking forward to, I got really, REALLY bad strep-throat

You should get a cat. So I can come visit and play with him/her. I wish I had a cat but I'm trying to be responsible since I'll probably be moving and that's not good for cats, right?

There are so many wonderful older cats that never get adopted... Some of them are crazy, yeah... but there are so many sweet ones that never get adopted just cause the kittens are cuter.
A lot of black cats, too. Don't know why, but every time i go there seems to be quite a few older black cats. Guess people don't like them for some shallow-ass reason.
Hope your mother comes back alive in a good mood.
Cruise to Canada sounds... kinda weird. I guess people take cruises to Alaska, but to be honest i've never really understood those either.. Kinda Titianic-esc with all the ice. *shiver*
