I got a kitty!

I finally adopted a kitty! Yay! We went down to the Kent animal shelter, mostly because they had an awesome deal ($25 for adults, $40 for kittens + a coupon for a free vet checkup, a license, some information, and we got him micro-chipped for an additional $25) and looked at lots of kitties. Oh yay! I'm so glad you guys got a cat!
What a perfect name, too. Might have to put more than one bell on him XD

Is he gunna be an indoor cat, or outdoor? Prolly be best to keep him indoors for a month, especially since he's so good at not-being-found. He might have one really good hiding place.. one you find that, you're gold.

Well he only has shots for being indoor right now and since it might take him a while to adjust and not hide (and considering that it's winter), we might let him out on a leash or something when the weather gets warmer.

He's really timid, so even having my nephew come at him too fast can send him into hiding. I'm sure this whole process is really overwhelming. I'm determined to find his hiding spot though. Poor kitty. When he's out and about, he seems quite comfortable, so that's good at least.

*beams* Patti and I adopted a new baby kitty this weekend, too! :) We just brought him home last night, so it was our first night with him. He's SOOOO huggable and lovable and adorable, and he's only 2 months old (but he's big and looks more like 6 months). And we love him! He's a tabby and his name is Toby. :)

Congrats on your kitty!!! :) *hugs*
