The Father is Finally Gone!

I know I haven't posted in a while, but last week was shitty as hell. My Dad FINALLY moved out of Washington--thanks you God!--but not before all kinds of drama and shit ensued. Since it would take for freaking ever to list all the assholish kinds of things he's done over the past 7 or 8 days, I will simply say that he is the biggest shit head that ( Read more... )

Yeah, my mom gave me a box of my old books a little while back and, wouldn't you know it, 3/4 of the box was Animorphs!

Sorry your dad is a shithead, but after all these years, we kind of knew that.

Well we were pretty much obsessed with the series for years. I remember going to soccer practice and everybody would look at us like we were freakish mutants because we were such fangirls and couldn't stop talking about them. Now THAT was a seriously long time ... like 6th or 7th grade probably.

Yeah, we pretty much knew he was a shithead--unfortunately some people do not evolve. Lol. I just realized how tied in that comment was to Animorphs. How sad and dorky at the same time.

Sorry dear about your Dad. I don't know too much but I'm glad you have control of your life :)

Animorphs!!! Read them all, go finish them! I have this memory of you in my old house or maybe it was yours where I basically explained the ending of the series, like 9 years ago.

Holy shit. 9 years? Damn.

I know you have friends that you keep in contact that are more than 9 years, but for me, it's a pretty big accomplishment since I moved around so much growing up. Yay for Heather.

I remember that! That was a seriously long time ago. We ended up talking about those books for at least a couple hours. I was so happy to find someone else who read them besides Julia! I don't want to spoil the ending for those who haven't read it, but I was fuming about it for days afterwards. I think I just might finish them ... and probably go into another funk due to the ending.
