If you would like an iPod, I do not use mine anymore, and you are welcome to it for a significant discount off the already significantly discounted price! Shit, I'll even let you fuck around with some iTunes on my system before you decide.
Oh yeah, also. I figure, if you are buying a 360 for VF5, take a moment and consider how much fun you will be having playing VF5 alone at your house. I say this not to depress you and be like "HAR HA BW IS LONELY" or anything like that, but more in the sense that if you are buying it for others' benefit, others might as well have a financial stake in it as well. This is the principle behind the condo residents collectively buying a Wii rather than any one of us plunking down the whole amount for it.
Or, for a better reason, wait for something better to also come out on the 360. I have high hopes for Too Human, for instance, at which point *I* will probably invest in a 360.
Well, given the ridiculous cost of unlocking anything for any of the characters, I figure there's actually a decent amount of incentive to 1P. Of course we all know that as far as actual fun is concerned, the majority of that is experienced in the company of other humans.
Still, VF5 isn't even out yet for the 'box; it's due out sometime this fall. And hey, it just so happens that that's around the time Too Human is supposed to come out! Funny how things work out.
I was wondering what happened to Too Human...
Anyway, there's actually a couple games I've been looking at for the 360, although Dead Rising is the only one that's actually out. There's the upcoming musical RPG Eternal Sonata, and eventually there'll be Beautiful Katamari and Soul Calibur IV... I may end up with a 360 eventually, but if you end up with one this fall, I guess that'll give me more reason to wait for a better price point, and more intriguing software.
