hey there guys!!
im in tenerife!! posting to you!!
havnt got time o check/read everyones posts since i came away as on a time limit type thing where im paying 3euros =1hr to use the net!
tried to get onto my email!but i cant figure out how to get the at key on this keyboard!!and i dont speak spanish so i cant ask!!
oh well! im managing to use LJ ( Read more... )

managed to get onto my email!! i copied and pasted the @ sign into it!!hot smart am i! took me long enough to figure it out though!! lol

lol, yups, that'd work! The other thing that may well work is shift+2 :o) Some keyboards have @ and " swapped around :o)

nah its not swapped like an american keyboard! its a spanish keyboard!
figured out the real way to get @ i have to press Alt gr+Ctrl+2 to get @ how annoying is that!!

Glad you got there in the end :)

And a pound of feathers and a pound of gold would weigh the same, of course. But the pound of feathers would have a large volume. Same mass though..

And it can't be a pound coin you're talking about 'cos they're not gold these days, as far as I'm aware :P

No.. A 'pound' is a fixed value for the mass of an object. The weight of an object is a measurement of force.. the gravity on the item multiplied by the mass of the item. So unless you're measuring one of them on the moon, they're going to weight the same.

Another alternative of course is a pound worth of feathers and a pounds worth of gold.. but there's no fixed value for either of those commodities :P

one does weigh more than another!!
and im not doing a play on words type thing, but got your mind going hasnt it!?no i dont mean coins of gold!(dont think puond coins are gold are they??)

yeah i know it could have!
i mean we could of had to do the same on the way back aswell! cos there was a chance that our inbound tickets mite not of been valied if we hadnt have used the outbound flight!
