Sissy has an appointment with the surgical referral on Friday at 8:30. They asked that she not eat anything after 6 on thursday, so it doesn't sound good. But they did say it was just a consultation because they wanted to keep it open since they have not seen the dog yet

They always tell you not to let the dog eat before a certain time. It helps rule things out, as well as preventing the dog from yakking and shitting all over the place.
