I think the middle one looks coolest, followed by the first. Not really liking that third picture!

I'm also thinking the middle would look the best. Would you want that specific FMA design, or something similar that's more unique?

I could go with something more unique. I was going to design my own at first, but I couldnt make it look as smooth, sharp, or appealing as the ones up there. I do like the ones from that series though, specifically dealing with human transmutation!

FMA makes for cool tattoos. They all work good for shoulder and back tats too!

I'm a bigger fan of 2, but I'm biased by a tat from another anime ( http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs44/f/2009/143/f/c/Fais_tattoo_by_Roxaslover3.png from Tsubasa Chronicle, which I want eventually). 3 would be next on the list, because I like the style, which is often used in Japanese-y magic circles. 1 is the most recognizable but otherwise kinda boring XD

It depends a lot on how much you want to spend. 2 and 3 would cost considerably more than 1. They would also likely take more time (and pain) to do.

I've been talking with people who have some ink, and they all say that the area I want it in isn't so bad, pain wise. More like a constant pinching/vibration then anything else!

You used to be a total metalhead, didnt you? =O I keep thinking of you as some sweet innocent girl, from all the art I see of you.. but I'm completely wrong, I think. xD

I've wanted a tattoo for a while! I am nervous and excited about it.

Also, your icon reminds me of that Take Me On song. @.@
