walking home from the bar tonight....i found a toonie (american friends that means a $2 coin) :)

i picked it up and said, "hello toonie! welcome to my pocket!" it made me happy.

At first I was like aren't those called loonies?? But those are the $1 coins. The toonies are the ones with a small coin surrounded by another coin (so to speak). I've seen a few of those living in Ohio. Hopefully you had a fun time out.

yeah loonies are one dollar and used to have a loon on them (i think the newest ones do again).

toonies are the ones you described but i hate that they are called toonies. they don't have loons on them. :P had polar bears. shoulda been called polys or something. haha!
