yeah, i understand that its fairly common - perhaps more so in corporations than anything - though i have never ran across it before when i was looking for new jobs. It just seems too cold and out of reach for a grassroots community organization, especially when The Stranger has accused them among other things, of being out of touch. I dont remember their previous job annoucements having this sort of request. Nothing personal on Gay City, but i perhaps change my mind of applying for this sort of position (non-profit, grassroots, localized, varying work times) and i was forbidden from inquiring further.

yeah, i cant imagine Avram doing anything else but media there. And GC seems to always replace those that leave with a volunteer or a half time.
