I have a Dell.. it was quite cheap!! (can't remember how much.. but you build your own to what you want on it so it would depend anyway) I absolutely LOVE it & have had no problems with it whatsoever!!
Well I was beaten to the punch by _lawrah. I was going to suggest Toshiba because apparently they are good, not sure about price though, and then I was going to go on to say how you can get pretty sweet deals from Dell.
i have a toshiba, and so does my roommate and another one of my friends... i would suggest not getting one because they start off fine and then in 1-2 years they can only be used as awkward desktops because they'll overheat and shut off if you place them flat on any surface. :(
Erm... paper napkins.running_jadedJanuary 8 2007, 00:47:59 UTC
Hello. I have come all the way from over *there* to your journal (I blame my Nezzie) and have been hopelessly entertained by it for the last half hour. Is that obsessive? I hope not.
I just emailed my boyfriend and I think he was all "wtf" because my writing style has absorbed your writing style. That happens to me sometimes - like when I read a lot of Katherine Mansfield or whatever - but it should return to normal in 15 minutes or so.
Anyway! I love the way you write and your drawing is just. gorgeous. It makes me want to give you a paper napkin to do a texta drawing on for me. But I won't because that's presumptuous, and it might not survive the posting from NZ to Aus to NZ again. Oh dear!

Hallo :) Hahaha I start writing like other people too, until I can't remember what my writing actually usually is. But the insanity usually creeps back.
Thankyou about my drawing, if bits of paper could blush they would. BUT I can draw on paper, not necessarily napkins (unless you have a preference for napkins? you never know), so if you ever want a drawing I'm your girl.
And ooh New Zealand. We are racing against you lot in Sydney next week DN DN DNNN. Obviously not YOU (unless...) but still! I don't even know what I am talking about any more.
But yes very nice to meet you I will add you back hooray! Good times.

I will be lurking around in the future, lovely!
