I'm doing pretty well, thank you! I'm definitely at the point where carrying little people and laundry baskets is no longer an option, though.
As for the GD, I don't think I really have it. I'm only testing twice a day now, but my numbers have never been out of range, unless I did something stupid, like eat a donut. But even then, my level was only a little high. My genuine diabetic friends scoffed at my post-donut 141.
So. That's cool. The downside is, my milk allergy is getting worse, so no more ice cream - GD or no GD. *cries*
I scoff at your post-donut 141! And I'm so glad for you. I got a 157 after a ham sandwhich (with ham, double cheese, tomatoes and mayo and light bread) because I didn't walk enough. If i ate a donut I'd have been done for!
The milk allergy seems so much harder. Will it go away with time or are you stuck with it?
I'm told that some late-developing food allergies resolve themselves, but I don't know how frequently that happens, or after how long.
Milk and beans have been really hard to give up. I made refried speckled butter beans tonight, and I seem to have survived. So those and limas are still safe. All my other favorites are verboten.

How are you feeling? I've been thinking about you. I had a dream that I was pregnant again and had to go straight into my gd diet.
Hope you are holding up well:)
