Does anyone know roughly how much an apartment costs?  
Or a place to go that the rent won't be too high?

Sadly, it's roughly the same here as in Toronto proper
Around $900/mo. for a one bedroom last I looked

Id' say look into basement appartments,(like go to grocery stores and look at the bulletin boards) their usually alot cheaper and have more room.
Brampton appartments are redictulously priced.
i heard the ones near shoppers go for about $1000 a month, but i could be wrong.

my two bedroom in the Kaneff buildings behind Shoppers is $1050/month, but it's HUGE, so i don't mind so much...
