two more weeks

Today I gave my dog away.  It isn't permanent - just for the next couple of weeks - but it is a drastic measure.  I gave her to some friends of my family who live about 45 minutes away.  I think they'll take good care of her.  I've done this to improve my own safety - this way, I no longer have to go on walks through this neighborhood after dark.
