Okay.  Go here to see some photos from my recent circumnavigation of Iceland.  Some of them are pretty.  Many of them involve puffins.

Puffins!

Lovely photos!! I'm terribly envious; I adore puffins and have long wanted to visit Iceland.

It looks like it must have been a fun trip!

(Did you take a cruise? If so, what cruise? If not, did you coordinate the trip on your own?)

It was a great trip - a circumnavigation of Iceland by decommissioned Russian research vessel (the Professor Multanovsky). It was an "expedition cruise," which means more birdwatching and naturalist's lectures and less sunbathing and fancy entertainment. I highly recommend it.
We signed up through the same company that my parents have use for trips to the Galapagos and Antarctica, Galapagos Travel (www.galapagostravel.com). It was a lot of fun, though cold and foggy for large stretches.

I would've been chasing them with a carton of milk to see if they stay crunchy.
