I've been reading/enjoying your new story, but I'm terrible about leaving reviews and comments. Sorry about that.
I think you need to ask this new doctor about things you can do to help, and certainly be careful about random sources or web sites. Having said that, I know some people on this side of the pond who had similar problems and were advised that mild weightbearing/impact exercises heped convince the body to lay down more bone - we are talking about regular short walks, using stairs, stretches with an elasticated band or bungee cord (both pulling and holding back the release) for arms as well as legs. You can at least ask if that sort of thing is suitable.

Good luck with everything :)
