So this week I'm house-sitting for friends of mine. They have three dogs (Sedona, the Dalmatian and Koby and Bella, weimaraners), a kick-ass deck with a nice backyard and a big TV with couple hundred channels and a quite a variety of movies. I love their dogs. ‘Cept Sedona makes me nervous. She’s 14 years old and is having significant trouble with

Are you sure Sedona's problems are with her legs and not her hips? If it's her hips, then a little vitamin C would probably help immensely. Often hip problems in dogs are due to a sub-clinical case of scurvy. (Cue 'avast ye scurvy dogs' reference here.)
