I am not sure how to start this out.  It's all going to sound like babble no matter what sort of introduction I give it, and I'm nearly positive, that as is the case with everything I seriously ponder, I will have no conclusive out-troduction either.

Except in very rare cases, I don't beleive that God picks & chooses who is going to die and who is going to live; who is going to live in a hellish environment and who is going to have an easy life; etc. There are, of course, blatent examples from the Bible such as the Great Flood, Sodom & Gomora, and the woes that He rained down upon Egypt when Moses was doing his business, but those were cases where the people "were asking for it" and he did give the "good people (and even the bad)" ample warning to get out of the way

I am pretty sure that Ben had his plans already set for that night. There is more to the story than it seems.

He definitely didnt hate anybody whatsoever, seriously.

I finally got a number to call about getting a tree and a plaque for him at Edinboro.

Just as i thought that I was pretty much over his death, as I went to class today I found a huge void.. I almost cried.
.. Mostly because all of the people in my major (computer science) are really close for various reasons.. and it just didnt feel right knowing that he wasn't around, or should I say couldn't be around.

As for you saying goodbye, it does always help to have that last moment, I'll admit. I would've been more than willing to go with you.. However the viewing was awkward for most people as his parents didn't know many of his friends. It just wasn't the Ben that I remembered either.
