You guys *do* know how to make friends, because Stef used to make friends.

It's just a matter of being careful who you make friends with.

Hi, Fo.
Yeah, Stef did used to make friends easily. Of course, she used her family life and her work and the church a lot....those things are lost to me and to Brandon. (Well, to all of us, but I think it bothers me and Brandon the most.)

It's very late right now....but can we talk more about this later ?

July, 2010 - going back over old journals.

Well, we don't feel like our family life is lost to us any more. We didn't have to divorce Rusty, we've moved from the apartment into a house, and the kids are very comfortable coming over. So we still have that family thing going on....and other than writing, it's really *all* we have.

Except for maybe spirituality....and our brand of spirituality doesn't seem to fit with anybody else's, because it's very personal and we don't belong to any organized *anything*.
That eliminates a lot of stress - but the down side is, it eliminates a lot of common ground for friendships.

Guess this 'friends' thing is To Be Continued. But hey, it's better than it used to be.
