Yesterday was a proud day in british football. A young england squad lined up to take on the skillful portuguese team at Gildridge park in Eastbourne

The game started with portugal on the front foot and us under alot of pressure. We found our goalies were under the cosh.
However Stratty found time for some show boating in goal
However we found ourselfs 2-0 down early on. Heads were dropping.
However a long throw from Harlow found Stratty who delivered this beauty to get us back in the game.
Then Banks got in on the act with a screaming header.
At 2-2 the game was in the balance when Harlow poped up to deliver this stonking volley.
At 3-2 and with the pressure coming from us we started to play the sexy football.
However the Portugeese delivered some crunching tackles and Banks took one for the team.
Dispite a late Rally from our opponents we came out victorious 7-3 winners. The scenes of Joy are evident.
