I remember Kiki's Delivery Service as my very first anime; and I can remember that I didn't even know what anime was at the time. I was probably in first or second grade. Spirited Away is one of the best animated films I've ever seen. I remember I use to watch Kikki's Delivery Service all the time when I was younger too =]

Spirited Away is just such a... warm and cuddly movie. Hahah.
I love the characters so much I can't pick a favorite.
I also love how her parents turned into pigs, for some reason. O:

STUDIO GHIBLI!!! My Neighbor Totoro was my Lion King. That one has so much behind it that it even surpasses Spirited Away, for me. But I love the latter as well... And I'm pretty sure Castle in the Sky is Studio Ghibli. He's got some really random ones, too, haha, like this one where all these raccoons turn into people. But they're all wonderful.

I'll have to look into My Neighbor Totoro. Is that the one with that big fluffy monster thing? I know Hayao has made a bunch of 'em. Hahah.

Yep, the big fluffy monster. I mean that it was my Lion King in that, the way lots of kids seem to have seen The Lion King a bunch and it's sort of the kid movie of people from my generation. Actually, I watched Lion King more in English class for its link to Hamlet than in my life for entertainment purposes.

I heard it was really good, but I've not seen it.

I think, in the near future, I'm going to buy a load of Hayao Miyuzaki films and watch them all in one sitting.

I have yet to see a single Ghibli film you recommended; but I hope to change that dramatically very soon~ (hope veoh has 'em)

As for the TV series; I LOVE FMA and sometimes Inuyasha... I haven't watched The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Noein, Lucky Star, Evangelion, Grenadier, DearS, or the Gundam series, however... I think I'll look into them in that order...

I have, however, recently fallen in love with Gravitation; as sad as that is. D:<
