Seven weeks. Two teenagers.

I really am going to be organised this year. Work early; leave the kids jobs to do; set TV and computer limits; plan an activity of some sort every day; do housework every day.

Also, I will write 500 words every day and I will Wii-Fit at least three times per week.

Hmmm, some tough targets there, but let's be optimistic

Oh, hello, I didn't think anyone would remember me after so long without posting!

Well, we went out to the beach for breakfast today and my eldest just sat in the car sulking beacause we got her up too early. Not a very promising start...

It's really odd being a parent of children this age, because I remember exactly how I felt towards my parents and the world in general at the same age, and yet my kids think I don't understand. I really don't feel any different now than when I was in my twenties so I'm not really aware of a generation gap. The children obviously see it though.

I haven't written much for months now and I've drifted away from the House fandom. I still enjoy the show, but I'm not inspired to write anything. I'm into Numb3rs though, because of the great family dynamic. I've got a few plots I'm working on but the maths is hard to research!
