I'm finally immersing myself in the internet after just dipping a toe in the water sporadically for more than two months.

I'm working on a Fright Night fan fic. (Oh my god Fright Night, thank you for being everything I wanted and more.)

I'm gonna go as far back in my flist as LJ will let me.

Any place in particular I should look for fandom? I've found a site on LJ and read a few fics on AO3. You have any recommendations?

Meh. Unfortunately, I'm not the best person to ask--I'm casually involved in any fandom, at best. frightnight2011 has got a kinkmeme and enthusiastic fans...

Ah, so you're a Doctor Who fan, too!! We need to be friends. I am, in fact, named after Sarah Jane Smith (I speak the truth!)... I feel like to keep the tradition alive I should name one of my daughters Martha. But anyway... I am currently halfway through S4. Yay, go me. :P Doctor Donna! :D

Friended you! That's awesome you're named after Sarah Jane Smith. I, myself, am actually named after Eowyn. Nerdy parents for the win.

Donna is the best!!! I miss her as companion to this day.

I do love Donna ^_^ My favorite (besides my namesake, who I haven't seen as much of as I would like, yet!) is Martha, though. Rose kinda annoyed me at first but she eventually grew on me.

And I've heard a lot of unflattering things about Amy, so I'm curious :P

I'm impressed Rose grew on you, as it was kinda the opposite with me. I always felt like I should like her more, but each time she popped up again after being exiled forever, and each time the Doctor demeaned one of his current companions cuz she wasn't Rose, I was bothered by her a little more.

Amy's... interesting. She's got some great episodes and some terrible episodes.
