I came home from work and started the series over. I might end up rewatching the whole thing. Never mind the other shows I wanted to watch that are piling up. It's just so fascinating to see the beginning again now that I know where it's going. And seeing Walt and Jesse before they're completely broken is a pleasurable sort of torture.

Argh I know, I was rewatching the series and I took a looong break before watching full measure. I'm doing the same thing for the last two episodes of season 4. XD I can't take seeing Jesse all torn up.

Why doesn't anyone love him?!?! (I think, on my rewatch of the series, I realized the episode where we meet Jesse's parents was the episode where I started falling for him.) Walt comes closest to loving him. And that's maybe the most depressing sentence I've ever typed.

And you're probably right... even though Walt's love is so seriously twisted, they probably are the only two people who can really care about each other on that level :(

One time I made the mistake of watching Human Nature (from DW) and Cancer Man in the same night, and the result was me sending my friend an email that said "JESSE IS A TIME LORD, THAT'S WHY HIS PARENTS DON'T LOVE HIM!"

It would explain a lot :P

Ha! I love your theory. Jesse as a fobwatched Time Lord is awesome. (I've been starting all sorts of ridiculous crossovers to give Jesse a happy ending. Last one I had him meeting Dookie from The Wire, cuz they both need someone to save them from their circumstances.)
